About Us

We are a luxury dental brand located in Downtown Nashville, TN. Our mission is to give all of our patients the confidence to smile freely and influence the world in a positive way. Our patient base values quality and health above all else.

What is a Smile Design?

A smile design is a comprehensive look at all features involved in a beautiful smile. This includes:

  • Lip Structure
  • Facial Movements
  • Gum Health
  • Tooth Alignment
  • Color
  • Shape and Contour
  • Skin Tone

What is Our Process?

The first step is a virtual consultation. Be as specific as possible about what you would like to improve, goals, budget, and timeline.

Once one of our providers responds to your request, you are free to book an in-person cosmetic work up. At this appointment we will take the time to listen to your concerns, take photographs and x-rays, and help you to develop your ideal smile. Then we set a date to help you be the most confident version of yourself!

Dr. Clegg and Dr. Nabors

Dr. Andrea Clegg, DMD

Dr. Clegg is a Northern California native that found her home here in Middle Tennessee in 2014. Her mother was a dentist and practice owner, and that really inspired her from a young age to become a dentist herself. After shadowing and working as an assistant in the practice 2000+ hours, she got into dental school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2009. Dr. Clegg found her passion for cosmetic dentistry and has since joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Making people feel confident is her absolute favorite thing, and she loves working with patients to make their dreams come to life. She currently resides in Franklin Tennessee with her husband Rick and their 4 children. Her favorite activities include trying new restaurants, skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Thomas Nabors, DDS

Dr. Nabors is a Mississippi native and grew up in a dental family. Dr. Nabors dad was a dentist in the Navy and private practice for over 40 years. Dr. Nabors, Sr. still lectures and does research in salivary diagnostics and the importance of oral bacteria and its role in the health of the body.

Dr. Nabors wife, Lesley, is from Dickson, TN., and they have three kids; Wright, Brett and Sophie. Dr. Nabors favorite thing is spending time with his family, however, when he does have some time off, he spends it at his “shop in the woods” down in Fairview, TN. He restored an old building and uses it to restore and work on vintage Ford cars.

Beam Dental Technology

Dental technology has come a long way in a very short time. Medical knowledge and equipment advancement continues to increase, providing treatments that are better and more effective than ever. Our office is excited to offer these benefits to you!

When we decided to go paperless, that certainly included our calendars, x-rays, and notes, but these simple records aren’t where our digital style ends. If you have any concerns about your teeth, whether it be sudden pain or an injury, you can do a digital consultation with us.

Yes, you read that right. From the comfort of your own home, you can chat with a professional in our office to get advice on how to treat your dental issues.

Just one of the improvements that we’re particularly excited about is the jump from paper to digital. We have established a completely paperless office style, and we’re able to do that because of some of the excellent equipment available to us.

This paperless style allows us to:

  • Decrease waste by eliminating physical documentation.
  • Cut down on the need for storage space.
  • Lessen the time needed to transfer files and x-rays to or from a lab.
  • Improve the speed at which your checkups can proceed.
  • Increase the accuracy of the information we gather about your mouth.
  • Broaden the types and amounts of information we can gather about your mouth.

Our paperless office helps us become more efficient in every way, and we know you will appreciate the difference our digitized style makes in our service to you!

There are two amazing aspects to cone-beam 3D imaging that we’d love to tell you about.
The first has to do with the shape of the scanner. Cone-shaped beams allow us to get a picture of your mouth and jaw that doesn’t flatten the image the way a regular camera would. This allows us a more accurate picture of hard-to-see spaces and helps us guarantee that small problems won’t get missed.

Secondly, this type of scanning can see both soft tissue (gums) and hard tissue (teeth) at the same time. This is a valuable tool for seeing the structures that make up your entire mouth and how well they work together. After all, everything in your body works together, and your mouth is no exception.

X-rays have long been a valuable tool for dentists, and the transition to digital has only made x-rays more useful. With digital x-rays, we no longer have to wait for the film to be developed. We can see the images almost immediately on the computer screen. As a result, we can also retake any badly positioned or blurred images with no inconvenience to you, and no time lost.

We can also zoom in on our high-definition x-rays to get a better view of anything we need to see more closely. We can transfer and store these images easily. On top of everything else, digital x-rays are also safer than film, as they require less radiation to get a precise image.

As a patient, you’ll receive premium periodontal therapy with the use of our Phase Contrast Microscope. Our mouths are home to billions of bacteria, some harmful and others beneficial. The strength of your oral health is dependent on maintaining a balance.

Dr. Nabors will use this microscope to look at the bacteria in your mouth and determine its composition. This will help us have a better idea of what is going on in your mouth and enable us to provide recommendations for future treatment.

An intraoral camera helps Dr. Nabors during your examination. A camera allows him to take a video and images of your teeth so that he can have a better understanding of any dental issue that you are experiencing. The video can be magnified and used to pinpoint plaque, problem areas, and other oral health issues that are more difficult to see with the naked eye.

Patient Amenities

Dr. Nabors has always believed the dental office environment can be different than it has been in the past. How does he strive to accomplish this? By offering you a multitude of patient comforts.

As a past owner and developer of an AVEDA Concept Spa and Lifestyle Store, he has a unique perspective on how to incorporate a spa environment without being intrusive to the reason you are here — your smile!

Our patient comforts amenity list offers ways to enhance your time with us—perhaps enjoying something you might not otherwise take the time to do. We believe patient comforts can convey to you that we care about you and want you to feel comfortable and pampered here.

We offer you a delicious coffee bar in the reception room.

Essential oil diffusers are running all the time throughout the facility to encourage patient comforts. However, each room is equipped with essential oils for our relaxation treatments and AVEDA candles if you so choose.

Treat your dry, chapped, or just cold hands to this wonderful patient comforts treatment designed to soften the skin. We also offer heated mitts as an option with this service.

AVEDA hand relief has never felt better than when gently heated with our warm hand mitts.

Just like at the spa, after you’ve spent some time with the dentist, holding your mouth open for a procedure, a warm towel is just the thing to help your face relax. Essential oil is available for this as well.

As one of our patient comforts, each treatment room is equipped with personal iPads and headphones if you want to tune out more annoying sounds.

The ultimate amenity for a relaxing dental visit.

We’re excited to improve your life with the excellent technology and practices found in our office. To take advantage of these benefits, contact us today.
