Remove your aligners before eating, as foods can damage the trays. Be sure to rinse your aligners with cool water before placing them back in your mouth.
When you are not wearing your aligners, place them in a protective case to keep them from getting damaged or lost.
Clean your clear aligners using cool or lukewarm water, a nonabrasive toothpaste or mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Do not use hot water as it can warp the trays.
Remove your aligners so you can brush your teeth twice a day and floss once a day. This will help prevent gum disease and tooth decay.
